Waterstone LSP is pleased to announce the recent closing of a new $342,000 SBA 7(a) loan for the Lake Charles, LA branch of a bank headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA.The loan finances the acquisition of a liquor store in Sulphur, LA.The new husband-and-wife owners have great business ownership and management experience and will be able to not only preserve the existence of this small business, as the current owner will retire, but they will be able to grow the business over the years to come.The business currently employs 3 and the new owners will immediately increase staffing by 2 more for a total of 5.We are grateful for the opportunity to work on behalf of the lender in assisting this small business within their local market.
